It could be by coincidence, but I celebrate the day he rose from the dead. On the first day of the week.
It is believed Jesus was born around the Feast of the Tabernacles which is September/October. If we go back nine months from here where are we??? And when DOES life begin???
We need to remember how Jesus came into this world.
If we stop celebrating Christmas we could stop reading scriptures associated with Christmas. You cannot take away from God's Word!!!
It seems as if Christmas is the modern day golden calf. We know it’s not his birthday, we know it’s many pagan origins and Christians still want to celebrate it! Yahweh says over and over not to worship him the way the pagans worship their gods! Read the golden calf story again, they wanted to honor Yahweh the God that brought them out of Egypt. Even though they had good intentions, Yahweh was not pleased!
