Rogan supports a woman’s right to kill a human? Man, I thought he reasoned better than that. How sexist too, because men don’t have a right to murder other human beings.
In the case of Roe vs Wade,

PLEASE READ PAST FIRST COUPLE OF SENTENCES :
I am a devout Christian. I am pro-life. I am also pro-liberty.
So for me the syllogism goes something like this:
It’s wrong for the STATE to force women to have children. Therefore, women must have chance to opt out of pregnancy. Conclusion, birth control options must be on the table including abortion.
Christian me says life begins at conception.
Political me says we need to find a benchmark that is a hard stop based on modern biotechnology and bioethics.
The problem is my best understanding of science and my faith based ethics say conception. But that means no abortions only birth control.
Leftist say unfettered access up to birth.
These are the two simple answers. And Absolutely no one who holds those stances are willing to give.
The answer that can find the compromise between the point that is least harmful to mom and fetus, because we do know fetuses at some point feel pain, based on best modern science, is the hardline we should be looking for.
We are also at a point where we can employ several layers of birth control and if you get pregnant it s in some way consensual. Obviously, excluding rape and incest( which make up less than 1% of abortions.)
Honestly, I’m looking forward to a day when we no longer have to have abortions because science will allow us to transplant fetuses or let them finish maturing in artificial placentas. We have after all grown a sheep from embryo in a plastic uterus.
Hopefully, on that day, no more children will die from abortion.
As a Christian I want it to end now. As an American who believes in personal liberty, I can’t stand behind forcing women to bear children.
God forgive me.
