Hes describing the movie Gattaca
It´s not even a debate where the future hegemony will be. The US and Europe have had their run, this century will belong to Russia and China. And the 22nd might belong to Africa, according to another futurist called Alexander Bard. By then Nigeria will have reached around 1 billion people and possibly be the center of civilization. Simply because Russia and South-east Asia will have declined by then.
