Americans have such little imagination beyond their own ego. No one considers the narrative if China takes the lead, the lives of Americans can improve as well. It doesn't have to be an us versus them discussion. If you truly want fairness in the world which Americans equate to as democracy then the US should take a step back in it's global role because there should not be one superpower. The military dominance that facilities the economic and cultural hegemony in the world is the greatest autocracy of autocracies in the world. "if you're not with us you're against us." Remember those words? Not exactly much of a choice.
The US is also a very juvenile adolescent civilization who grew way to big too fast. We are a country without much of a deep history and legends of old like you would find in the older countries like places in Europe and Africa, therefore you get a whole lot of people who don't know where they came from and how they should act. If you're 30 years old, there have only been 8 30 year old men/women before you in your family line before the Revolutionary War. Think about that. Everything you've experienced in your 30 years of life and all the questions you have about the past, that's only happened 8 other times in history in the time that the US has been an empire.
Why not just let the rest of the word free… thx
