Humanity was horribly poor when it was hunter-gatherer. Farming is the key to our success and wealth. No one animals feeds you for a year — you clearly eat lots of other food. If we all hunted and gathered, we'd have destroyed all of nature by now. What next, you only burn wood for energy? Nonsense…
Covid is just a natural disease. To claim all must hide for a year and all must pay for the myriad harms that arise is nonsense. Life has no guarantees. Life is not easy or disease free or full of comfort. If you want to help others, that is great and moral. Forcing all to help those you think need it isn't. Claiming that one kind of harm matters more than others is nonsense. We are free individuals because your harm isn't my harm, nor is my harm your harm.
It is perfectly fine and expected we all have different ideas and thoughts. What is tyranny is demanding that all then accept a single way, whether said by a king, a despot or a democracy. The source of the tyranny doesn't make tyranny any better.
