Yeah, I’m concerned about our governments understanding of AI and other things they don’t understand get like science. How can someone understand AI when they cannot wrap their head around climate change.

Our higher intelligence is a very short sighted adaptation. Crocs have been around for 100 million years, humans under 300 thousand, our technology less than a second in evolutionary time and we’ve already come within a hair’s width from completely annihilating ourselves several times. It’s just a matter of time.
