on the matter of knights grand theft autoing each other's horses, a proper well armored knight of the 15th century (Malory's period) is quite hard to kill with medieval weapons, and most knights preferred to capture and ransom their fellow knights and their horses rather than kill each other outright. Filthy, lightly armored peasants were ok though, I mean, common people they are everywhere!
