It is proven that Cosby had a long run of predatory unlawful behavior in the many years he was hanging out 24/7 at the playboy mansion drugging and raping women back in the day. So so sick. Why is nobody every talking about the girls that said "yes" to him asking if he could rub one out in front of them were the girl who sang "take it in the ass for jesus." Just another Exhibit A for why Joe Rogan is a stand up guy and a bit of a gift, in my opinion anyway.
I've paid attention to him for a long time and I agree with probably 80 percent of his strong positions. Maybe not all of his contract choices, but that show is a classic and a boundary stretch rejection that is historically significant. Nonetheless, a ballsy move by the creators and Joe. He clearly had little idea of how twisted the human psyche gets when sudden success and money appear. And the pressure is immense. Producers be crazy.
His defense of Louis, as an artist, for an artist speaks to the guys heart and loyalty. Yeah, I've been laughing my ass off to Louis and most of his creations for a long time. I think any of his TV series are capital I Important. Not just because the guy felt like a brother going through all the same shit men just have to deal with in life. A lot of it I find, frankly, completely unfucking-necessary, the shit we go through. And Louis' brand of subversive comedy in his shows and his writing, choice Pamela Adlon and so many other great comic talents was always must watch TV for me. Usually alone, as males apparently need to be more than seems necessary or wise. A bit disrespectful too, but don't get me started! 😉
Anyway, Louis got bent over the table hard, unfairly and with folks dropping into mob mentality groupthink. The sjw crowd. I actually am part of the general movement my whole damn life, but radicalism and angry echo chambers seem to always bubble up. And to be clear, I've cheered on MeToo and am happy certain pond scum have been caught and prosecuted. I read his entire apology the day after he released it and I gave him respect for owning up, being thoughtful, and working hard to make amends. It's all absurd anyway…everyone knows good men that have a mildly peculiar side, shall we say. And look at the freaky stuff the 20-40 crowd is into. Those ladies be blazing trails in consensual perv and I salute them. 🖖
