She has also worked within county, state, and federal facilities providing clinical and forensic services for juvenile and adult offenders and has provided services for police departments in New York City, Alabama, and Southern California.

Let’s be real , most cops are just harassing the citizens that pay their salary. Let’s stop sensationalizing the job.
@57:43 i can't help but notice how this woman is no longer engaging in the conversation as Joe speaks about Wht Cops kllings whts. It makes one wonder Why? Why does she not seem to want to engage, Is it to let this conversion drop if she doesn't comment, I think Yes.
Also no one is dumb there are good cops but the problem is systemic racism (I’m black) is alive and well just the other day I was pulled over for “speeding” and questioned the officer asked if I had any weapons if the car was stolen if I had a valid license and insurance the entire time the officer tried to intimidate me at one point even threatening to write me 7 tickets at the end of the ordeal I only got one ticket for a cracked windshield
So police make up the vast majority of a towns and honestly a states budget. instead of using the funds to better train police officers money is used for everything else from more guns military grade vehicles and other toys. When people say defund the police they mean spend that money in other areas like training psychology and community outreach the problem is you have people who sit and complain about the argument there have been examples like in Jersey where crime has dropped after police have been defunded now if people were saying get rid of the police altogether that’s a different story but the vast majority of people saying defund the police just want there to be less waste and better trained officers
I usually agree with Joe, but i think he's way off base with this one! It's NOT just this one cop who killed Mr. Floyd who is the problem. There are thousands of officers who treat citizens with hast and disrespect every day. There are hundreds who harm or maim ppl everyday, and then there are some who actually kill ppl! Don't get me wrong, I know that most cops are good ppl, and I respect them and the job they do. I know that some citizens are complete garbage and vary difficult to deal with, but what i think most ppl are upset about is the fact that we kno without a doubt that the criminal justice system is broken and in some cases its set up as a money making scheme that countless innocent ppl get caught up in. Most of the ppl protesting the police now are mad because for years we have had this knowledge and talked about reform, but yet nothing happens and no real reform is ever accomplished! I want and need the police in my community, but I want and need them to be better trained, vetted, monitored and controlled. I want real change in the way the system is ran and I want more protection for citizens rights. I want those rights acknowledged and respected, and i want it to be easily seen that our rights aren't different based on the color of our skin or the zip code we live in!
