Why put animals in a zoo when you can see them on YouTube. When people go to jail they don't like being behind bars why do you think an animal would. You're right it is a prison for animals who have done nothing wrong but be alive.
I got an argument with a Zoo Field Supervisor because I told him that Zoos are animal prisons exploiting animals for entertainment and business. That field supervisor really went mad on me and tagged his whole zoo buddies just to harass me on social media, one of the worst community ever, most of them are Veterinarians who are working at the Zoo and reptile buy and sellers.
Zoos are terribly sad. Free the animals.
