WTF people are able to train feral kittens to be house cats based on if they are food positive as kittens. This is done by spoon feeding them 2-3 times a day and getting them use to the behavior of humans. Otherwise they will claw out your eyes and run because they are scared they will be eaten by you.
You can't assume abuse and also have a cat or dog at your house. Animals in the wild are different because they are not tamed and the process of taming them is not abuse when done right. fuck this guy.
Youtube is littered with videos of people who have relationships with all kinds of wild animals. Starvation and abuse have nothing to do with it. It's just socialization from a young age. Bears, lions, or any apex predator, all have an extremely harsh existence. Hungry until they get their next kill, defending the kill from other animals, fighting their own kind, losing their young, crossing paths with people, etc. Some bear getting fed and loved on a daily basis is not suffering abuse. I'm sure there are such instances, but to just lash out about something when you have no context is idiotic.
