The filmmakers used the book by Anna Katharina Emmerick, a poor woman who received visions about the Lord's suffering. In this book you can read AKE p 281 ‘He prayed certain psalms and prophecies at the moment He fulfilled them. Also on the whole road and till His death He was continuous in prayer and looking into the fulfillment of the prophecies.’ Usually people only refer to Isaiah 53 and Ps 22:19 : They divide my clothes among themselves and cast lots for what I am wearing. Were there more verses in the Bible that were prophecies about his suffering? I used the book to search in the Psalms and the OT for verses. Then the Lord showed me a whole new level. Just look at verse 2 of Ps 22; My God, my God, why have you forsaken Me? … This isn't just about asking for help at dawn… This is our Lord! The outcome of searching was miraculous; I found a verse in almost EVERY psalm that was a prophecy of some part of his suffering. Start browsing the psalms of King David and carefully replace the he with a capital letter He, you will discover that David was not only king, but also a prophet…! You also find pieces of passion in prophets ; for example 2 Sam. 18 : 9 the prediction of Prince Jesus (not yet crowned) riding on a donkey, his crown of thorns (consisted of branches) and He hung between heaven and earth on a wooden cross and a reference to the three nails that pierced his hands and feet. – (An event can therefore also be a prophecy for the future.) Shall I give some examples? In the cave from the Garden: The scriptures say little about what Jesus went through in the cave where He went to pray. Mt 26 : 36-46 / Mc 14 : 32-42 / Lc 22 : 40-46 Through the visions from God to AKE, we understand that His agony and redemption because of our sins already began. Ps 22 : 2 My God, I call by day and by night and You don't answer. I find no peace… Ps 55 : 5 My heart cringes in My chest, death and terror fall upon Me. AKE p 66 When Him the innumerable crimes and the ungratefulness of people before God were shown, He cried out in awe:"Father, if it is possible, then take this chalice away from Me!”The face of terrors plunged Jesus in mortal terror. He wrung His hands, trembled and was covered in fearsweat. Mt 26 : 39 / Mc 14 : 35-36 / Lc 22 : 42 But He restored His prayer and added in peace and quiet:“But not My will, but Your will be done.” Ps 16 : 5 The Lord is My cup of life, My destiny is in Your hands. Shall we strike at it with the sword?” Mt 26 : 51 / Mc 14 : 47 Lc 22 : 49-50 / Joh 18 : 10 Ps 120 : 6-7 Too long I have to live with people who hate peace. No matter how I speak of peace they have their mouths full of violence. The poem of the Man-God : Chapter 662 The apostles shout inappropriate things…Someone yells; "You betrayed us!"Another: "But… He's crazy!" There were four long cords on the belt which they tore Him to and fro. Job 30 : 18 My robe is wrapped with an abundance of violence. It pinches Me like the neck of My tunic. Ps 105 : 18 They bound His feet in fetters, His neck was riveted in iron… Ps 35 : 12-13 They repay Me good for evil.I am forsaken by everyone. If they were sick, then I clothed Myself in penance and chastened Me with fasting and I kept praying, deep in My heart. AKE p 279 Only then did they notice, that the left hand didn't reach far enough to drive the nail into the pre-drilled hole. So they tied a rope around His wrist.They pressed themselves against the cross and with all there strength pulled the left hand over the hole…So they tore Him apart every joint…Ps 22 They have pierced my hands and my feet. I can count My bones, one by one, and they just look at Me and rejoice in Me. AKE p 282 It was about a quarter past twelve when the cross was erected. The foundation coincided with the loud trumpet blast from the temple, for the first passover lamb was slain. Ps 27 : 6 I will offer sacrifices in the tent of the Lord, sacrifices under trumpet blast. – So many verses, I can't post them all here…! – Isaiah 53 : 10 It pleased the Lord to make Him sick and to break Him. Verily, He has made Himself an atoning sacrifice. Isaiah 53 : 6 And the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all… Ps 71 : 4-6
Deliver Me, My God, from the hand of the evil one, from the clutches of the villain and the violent. Yes, You, O Lord, are My hope, from My youth My refuge. I rely on You from before I was born, You are My protector from the womb: to You is My song of praise forever. Psalm 31 : 6

This scene of the film is very heart touching and is very difficult to watch, as specially if you have that touch of understanding of what scripture is all about.
