One of the better JRE episodes! Lots of great quotes.
Joe, there may be a tiny TINY minority of the right who completely deny climate change, I've never met them but I'm sure they exist. But most do not, they just don't agree with things like the Green New Deal and a complete government takeover and shutdown of the economy in the name of climate change. But if you disagree with that, you are labeled as a "climate-change denier". Also, it seems much more likely that a right-libertarian solution of lower taxes and regulations on business would allow green companies to thrive and compete with the big businesses and people can then use their money to support these businesses and support change without having to bring the whole system down. And if you want to talk about conservation, the president who's done the most for conservation was Theodore Roosevelt who's a Republican.
So quick thought, might be crazy, but what if we just stopped talking about the 'mainstream media' and stop giving them attention. Are we using reverse psychology on ourselves thinking they are important? If more people stopped watching, they would change.
I feel so comfortable listening to two politically non radical people have a rational conversation
