Im glad he has changed his stance around suicide not being a part of his class and discussion because we NEED to talk about peoples very real thoughts and contemplations of suicide. Talking about it does not push someone to do it. Ignoring the problem it and pretending that suicide isnt a thing keeps it taboo and puts up more barriers for people to get the help they need to confront their suicidal thoughts or ideation and ultimately prevent suicide.
