Lairds the definition of a haole local🤙🏽
I agree with that. I can't stand being in town especially large towns with alot of people going every direction at once
People like living in cities because humans are social creatures. We WANT to cluster together. It's innate. There IS an argument to be made about cities being bigger than they need to be, but it's human nature for us to want to live close together in a walkable environment.
Simple statements… but lairds right, we were never meant to live in an environment like a big city stacked on top of each other, and honestly as much as I enjoy the camaraderie and the energy that you can get in the city and the diversity…but it does promote materialism the buying of things and accumulation of wealth and stuff which essentially doesn’t make us happy. I think since Covid a lot of people have realized reassess their lives and have seen that life is about so much more than the stuff that’s why so many of the people in the city have migrated to upstate too….
Why we are attracted to big city is simple….$. Opportunity to get a slice of that financial success dream
