  1. 1:50 it's rough. My brother broke my nose horribly when I was 11. My parents told me I was fine. I used to get made fun of in school for breathing loudly through my mouth. Got it fixed in 2019 (20 years old) and holy shit I'm pissed off at my parents for not doing anything about it then. I was always very anxious, couldn't sit still, couldn't focus, etc… After the nose surgery and being prescribed Flonase all of those things went away and I feel like a real person again….

  2. Many years ago, I read the amazing book SHUT YOUR MOUTH, SAVE YOUR LIFE by Native American book author and painter…as well as being a lawyer, George Catlin. He wrote phenomenal works on our Native Americans particularly in the 1830's if I recall like no other before him or after. The mighty Native Americans…among others, made great strides in training…by force, their little ones to breathe through their noses. It was considered a requirement for unrivaled health compared to today, power to survive and thrive and longevity. How did we "lose it" as Mr. Hamilton suggests? Simple, at least for here in America. Europeans were called "pale faces" not because they were white, but because they were sickly looking to many Natives according to Catlin and his visits to nearly every tribe in North America. In time…white sugar, white flour and the like, as one can see from the amazing book by Weston A Price called Nutrition and Degenerative Disease shows that when tribes and peoples around the globe he studied were given "civilized" food and drink like alcohol, sugar, flour…actual skeletal including facial structures and features began to change. All this within a single generation of the processed versus natural food intakes including nasal passage closing, cleft palate…everything! Thus more mouth breathing, sickness in general. I can say with pride, that when my youngest came along, now age 9, I was thrilled to see her born with nasal passages wide and open…unlike myself who had suffered for decades with the opposite. I quit the junk, alcohol, processed foods and inflammation causing junk in general 20 years ago when I became a Holistic Health Practitioner and have been a nose breather, instead of a mouth breathing suffering fool ever since. 🙂 But that's just my take.
