Laird..just like the rest of the class of 1984..is superhuman
Laird is dead-on about anesthesia. I've had open heart surgery twice and a nephrectomy due to cancer. Those three together add up to 24 hrs of my life under anesthesia. If you think about it, anesthesia is basically overdosing in a controlled environment. I can definitely tell that my brain is slower than before all that.
