Scab's goals involve acquiring material possessions. This "stuff won't make you happy" line completely flies over Branson's head and yet he agrees and kowtows to Joe that stuff doesn't matter because he is a complete fucking idiot.
Brenda Shlob is entirely focused on acquiring wealth. He is counter to the part of Joe's mind that is interesting and psychedelic. Yet he's one of his best friends?!
Look at the way Joe talks about material possessions and compare that to the way Slob talks. It just doesn't make sense!!!
You have that luxury because you are rich. Some people do things to make money because they dont have money.
Love these guys. However, most of my problems stem from not having enough money. I suppose when you're making millions money isn't an issue.
