1.09.00 Did she really just say "We've got radio carbon dating, we KNOW the earth is 4.5 billion years old"? Tell me she didn't just say that as though she knows what she's talking about. Radio carbon dating is on pretty shaky ground past 13,000-14,000 years. Many scientist won't rely on it even that far. There are no accurate tests to determine the age of something past whatever radio carbon is trusted to do. All the asserted ages of the earth are just speculative, educated guesses. Which is fine, start with a theory is how science works but empty headed morons like this chippy talking about a theory as though it's a proven fact do real science a great disservice.
A few things I could push back on, but the comments here are cancer. Her arguments are well thought out and well meant. Good podcast.
