Detroit isn't coming back.
Detroit failed because of the labor unions. Just as labor unions killed many northeastern manufacturing cities.
Union mentality, of the workers, convinced them they could get more money by doing less work and going on strike.
It kills all businesses in the private sector and makes the public sector more expensive while producing poor output, prime example is public education.
