  1. Dude English is hard to learn just like Japanese. Japanese is easy to learn speak but you speak it and learn faster better if you learn to use the little symbols too. In English it’s hard to learn the language because it’s so flexible. English is like 60% slangs 10% words from other languages and the rest is grammar that we learn in English class. But like any form of intelligence the smarter you get the easier it is for you to take in information so the better you get at a language the more effortless it will be to get better. It’s like how if you speak English you can probably think of a word that you haven’t said in the last year but you know what it means but you can’t do that until you’re really familiar with the language. For example when was the terms “pendulum” “Tom foolery” and “terraform” are words I understand but haven’t said in a very long time but I haven’t forgotten them. You don’t forget a words very easily once you’re good at the language. In Wiz’s case he was in Japan for 2 years but it can take about 5 years before you actually get good at speaking it. Those little symbols, or at least the Chinese characters they have called Kanji are like how English has Latin roots so when we hear the word “demonetize” we know someone is not saying “demon it eyes.” We know it means to not monitize but before people know that language just sounds like a slur with pockets of words we know. Japanese has some English words which are written in one of those 3 systems because one is for foreign words (the easier system if for Japanese words). Some English words are restaurant レストラン (resutoran), 🍊 Orange オレンジ (orenji), and America アメリカ (Amerika). The Japanese word for orange 🍊 is “mikan” spelled In hiragana (the Japanese word system) みかん. And words that use Chinese symbols but also have the meaning of Japanese words have both meanings which is why they translate to multiple words in English. For example you as a kid might refer to your dad as daddy but if you ask another kid about their dad you don’t use daddy you just say “your dad.” In Japanese the word dad is spelled with a combination of Japanese with a Chinese character right in the middle (the x looking one) お父さん otou-san while the word for ones own father can be ちち (chichi) which is in only Japanese characters. It seems complicated but it actually takes less than 2 weeks to learn the Japanese writing system and then after that the only one that takes a long time to learn is the Chinese origin one but even Japanese people don’t learn the whole thing. The just learn the ones they use like dog 犬 or airplane 飛行機 people talks about how hard it is because of how many characters you have to know but it’s not true. The English language has over 100,000 words and counting. You probably use they same 1000 words for most of your life and you don’t even notice you know less that ten percent of the language. Oh and Japanese has the word three, number three, and a symbol for it.
