  1. The Simulated Universe is about logical inference.

It all hinges on us being able to create a program in the future that could simulate a Universe; If that happens, the next step is finding out if that simulated universe, can simulate a universe.
If, and only if these things become true, then assuming we're Base Reality is illogical.

From a Buddhist perspective, the idea isn't that strange. It's quite similar to ideas held in Buddhism

  2. We are living in a simulation and we are now slowly being sucked into a simulation within a simulation, the question is are they the same and if so how many simulations within simulations are we actually in, I would love to debate this..

  3. Eddie has a point but to play devil's advocate, because Joe did a surprisingly bad job at it, with those other conspiracies there are no close quarters interaction for the most part other than, this guy said this, heres this certain evidence, possibly for this reason. And yes, sometimes, like in the case with 911, those can be very convincing, BUT, with the simulation theory, you dont have ask anybody or be shown this, or research that, its right there. Weve all seen games and movies, we all know vr exists, and for most of us we can see the world around us, its there you know, so the idea that just like how theres a screen in the movie theater there could also be one in front of your eyes, physical or implanted, whatever, is apparant to all of us. We all dream and we buy that shit, because were right there and with reality, its the biggest conspiracy of them all. Thats why simulation theory CAN hold more water than the others, because we all see it, we could all buy it by just staring at the ceiling or at grass for a little longer than usual, and it just hits you, just how possible the impossible can be. Rarely do other theories have that visceral raport.
