Ahh Capitalism, I work, I get a paycheck. If I want to improve my lifestyle, I strive to get a better paying job or better, I take the risk to be my own boss with an enterprise. Under Socialism I work, and someone else will get part of my paycheck through taxes for doing nothing. If a socialist government is gonna tax everyone heavily just to give it away to someone who won't work, the mindset of the people will be "Why should I work if I can get free money?" The problem with that is it will eventually run out of other people's money.
