  1. Personally I'd say I'm reluctantly against Universal Basic Income. As much as welfare needs to be reformed (from my point of view anyway, I'm from the UK) I don't think it will fundamentally solve any problems. And yes, it's silly to give the same amount to everyone regardless of their individual situation. 

    That said, I can see it actually being doable on an economic level, which is where perhaps I differ from this guy. I just feel there could be a better use for the money that would benefit the individual and communities more than UBI.

  2. This is BS, you will run the problem that the population will just not be able to get those high skill needed for new jobs.
    UBI already exists, just not for the poor, it't only for the ultra rich, or if you are to big to fail.
    There is also the notion of the distopya being created for your children mine and everyone elses unless you are super rich.
    We all serve a master and those are the super rich 1%. You have no chance in 1 million yeas to get there.
