Then we pay more money to support institutionlized people and keep us safe from them. To answer his point on education Studies have shown UBIs help people upskill and find more meaninfull work, even leave abusive relationships if they are finacially dependent on a parter and improve mental health. People will also not feel low in status receiving UBI because EVERYONE gets it, it is UNIVERSAL. UBI SAVES TAX PAYER DOLLARS!!! People who want to grind and hustle and be capitlists will still be free to do so, people at work will want to be there, not lazy people who are forced to be at work for money only, people who want stay aat home and smoke can do so and not bother anyone .
