Government funded health will be used to CONTROL you
That is what a conservative is against
And if you lived through C19, you should be scared of government funded health care.
The amount of control government at every level imposed in the name of one health care event, now imagine how much control government at every level will impose if government were the sole payer for your health care needs

David is wrong on the NHS.
The government absolutely owns the hospitals and pays the salaries of the staff. The problems it has are down to chronic underfunding by Conservative governments. When it was properly funded under the last Labour government, standards of care were very good, as evidenced by the international rankings at the time.
The U.K. currently spends half on healthcare what the US does as a share of GDP. If it spend about 20% more, most of the problems would go away. Unfortunately the Tories hate public services and are busy quietly privatising the system by stealth. Which ironically is raising costs…
I really like the best doctors argument. Just like Joe, I have millions of dollars to burn, rather than an average doctor, I prefer The Best Doctor, because my mum told me I am special.
