Is Joe fucking retarded? Ideas are obviously the culmination of experience which piece together in the subconscious in combination with intelligence. So, podcaster Joe Rogan once stated something very peculiar, interesting, and fascinating, that ideas come to us, like existing out there, and are living things.
"Ideas coming from a transmission" he states.
"Maybe ideas are living things"
"You think of them something your brain is creating and maybe your brain is creating it. But, maybe these ideas uses your brain so that it manifests itself in the real world"
Pondering this, then the brain is some sort of receiver, picking up these transmissions/ideas, like tuning a radio.
The great philosopher said that knowledge is not learned but is instead remembered, which is where the Realms of the Forms comes into it. But I can't be fudged with a headache pondering that right now.
But in short, Socrates states that there exist a realm where the perfect form exists. And maybe this is what Joe is referring to here, where these ideas come from, which is fascinating. Then these ideas we have are limitations of the perfect form. Some people have used these ideas like Apple or Android to near its perfect form. Maybe these ideas choose those who are best to materialize these ideas.
I love Duncan trussel, this is really interesting because I think there’s also a book called Being Human Being that sort of talks about this, also there a tv show called sense 8 that’s basically what if people were born in clusters of unseperated consciousness, so if everyone lives separately this story explores the what if of an evolutionary branch of humans who are connected
