Think we all know where we were when 9/11 happened. But those moments in life where you remember exactly where you were & what you were doing-so vividly & beyond bits & pieces when you heard some big news- is obv rare. I must've only been 11 or 12 when it was announced Magic had the HIV but I remember exactly where i was & what i was doing. Was after school at buddies house & we flipped on tv-think it was ESPN & i was just floored. Even remember talking like the guy had yrs to live. Only few yrs earlier we were obsessed with Bird vs Magic. Just weird how vivid the memory is, similar to 9/11 & columbine. Not even comparing any of the 3 either cuz we know how some idiots like to over-circumcize the mosquito & make asinine leaps. I'm just saying tho the Magic news was obv big at time, still surprised I remember it just as vividly as obv events that were way more tragic.
