If Muslims' repressive and paternalist view of 'their own' women is not grim enough, remember that the corollary of this attitude is that they regard women in freer cultures as whores, or something worse. For all that Mr Harris will admonish Americans to check their own culture at the point of embarkation, Muslims ought to hear comparable advice when traveling in the opposite direction.
