I think he was referring to Buakaw as the fighter he couldn't pronounce his name right?
With single punches and kicks you do not come far in a kickboks match. So we used combinations. So simple is it.
Like we do business the way how we talk we are direct. That is why we are succesfull. Peace
The Dutch are better kickboxers.. the Thai are better Thai boxers.. a lot of similar techniques but they are each still distinctive in their own right.. I feel like overall I usually notice a lot more fluidity and natural aptitude in sweeps, trips, dumps, throws, and clinch work in the Thais.. and I think i’ve seen the Dutch create more athletic specimens that just physically dominate while sticking to simple combinations and effective the low kick and mid kick combo strings.. there is so much crossover though so its hard to say which is better or which style has the edge..
It is easier for a newer fighter to compete in kickboxing if they go the dutch route.. and the fundamentals will work well into the higher and elite levels of the sport.. where as it is harder for a foreigner to go to Thailand and compete in Muay Thai right off the bat without having a longer adjustment period and a steeper learning curve.. i’d day start with Dutch Kickboxing and transition into Muay Thai.. but keep your dutch roots..
Thai with a little boxing
why do people think ramon dekkers fucked up everyone in Thailand? he lost more fights against thai's than he won.
