Something weird happened between the US and Iran recently. Since this podcast Iranian Drones were dropping weapons in Ukraine and there is some new agreement and I don't know anything about it. They aren't stopping Iranian shipments to Russia. Abby is one of my favorite journalists. She does her research, articulates issues really well.
I wonder what she is saying now. Something has changed with Iran and it has not been publicized. Syria is an issue again. What the hell? I hope Iran wants to do business with Iraq and the EU and US because this is really to the edge scary. When people are getting paid, they manage to work it out. It is either they build peace with Iraq and get involved with world trade much more or Russia will lend help to the underdeveloped, theocratic society. Iran is a small minority of religious zealots. Most of the women want modernity in Iran, but they have strict religious law. The Russians will help the Iranians to achieve a nuclear weapon and the Iranians will continue to supply the war in Ukraine. Or they can build a society based on a more modern concept and build a society that will out last oil. One thing, "YOU LIVE IN A DESERT. This story has evolved a lot. I'd ask Abby Martin back on about this one. Dave Smith has a grip on all this too. I think Abby is very sophisticated in her descriptions of these events in the Middle East. Dave just lights the room on fire and it is a mic drop.

I have a much better idea, send the mouthy politicians and CEOs to the front lines. The wars would stop virtually immediately.

Here we are, didn't happen. Abby Martin, insufferably anti-American conspiracist, completely misguided as to how the sausage is necessarily made as safe as realistically possible so loons with zero credibility can make a living criticizing the very culture that is so liberal its fine with the criticism. Try that outside the West.
