exact same crimes in the excact same communities over many generations —> BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS
But they have done some thing they have paid women to get rid of their husbands and have now become dependent upon the government. Now you don’t have men in the families and people run wild. NO FATHERS
I think when people speak about reparations they only think of slavery…I want reparations for my parents generation..they had to endure Jim crow laws among other obstacles..my grandparents had it worse than them but they are no longer here…give it to black veterans families that weren't given the same benefits as the white veterans..there are more things that happened more recently and we don't have to just focus on slavery 💛
On the slavement of africans and the theft of Mexican land
If it makes sense to give reparations then that means everyone of any nationality should get it cause slavery occurred on every continent by countries and tribes enslaving and then selling their own people
So basically no matter ur family background or ur race
everyone living on earth has ancestors that were enslaved somewhere at some point in time
Lastly we have so many mixed people in this time period different mix of black and white or black and asian for example And that will jus make reparations more confusing
How? Why? Cause they have ancestors that were slaves along with others being slave owners along with some being slave catchers
What makes it more confusing is the fact that slavery comes in different forms the Jews held in those camp were unwilling forced to live there work and be experimented on
You can’t put a price on suffering who are u to do that
Lemme ask everyone who suffered more the Jews or Africans what about the “Natives”
When it comes to the descendants who haven’t gon thru anything at all similar
Who gets more money?? Or they all get the same amount??
The point is it’s way to late for reparations that should have been done right after the abolishment the US made a mistake back in history not doing so they even had another perfect chance when segregation was abolished the US made many terrible mistakes
But this one is to late to fix because it won’t benefit the ones who truly suffered from real harsh racism that literally legal I mean remember people had to sit at the back of the bus , separate bathrooms, then the financial issues of not being able to get loans
If anything the people who actually experienced that should be provided something
But not the descendants who currently don’t have to deal with these issues the same way
Today’s society is very different and diverse
I did AncestryDna I’m mixed with European African and Indigenous Puerto Rico
mind u
native americans are actually descendants of asian migrants
