The US is at a point where certain words don’t mean anything anymore.
Terms like „socialism“, „communism“, „capitalism“, „class“, etc all are nothing but meaningless terms that get thrown around and used in any way that might currently be helpful to support someone’s personal agenda.
Corporate media and the liberal right (aka the democrats) destroyed the language people could use to talk about actual leftist and progressive politics
Abby summed up the neoliberal hijacking of legitimate social movements brilliantly in less than 5 minutes. Identity politics is merely the pathetic attempt by the corporate state to appear progressive, while distracting you from the reality of being forced to work for private tyrannies and literally destroying the world and our quality of life.
