I get maybe 5-10 texts a day. Usually they’re in broken English asking me for my address so they can send me the 6k I asked for..
Hit the nail on the head. Once I was out trying to get my car out of some thick ice for roughly 2 hours and this girl I was talking to texted me like 4 times in that time, talking about how she was upset I was ignoring her. Like do you think my phone is connected to me or something? I barely even know you. Big ol' red flag, cut her off quick after that

One of the reasons I really like my close friends is that we can literally go for weeks or months not texting, but then if something happens or one of us sees something that we think the other would appreciate, we’ll text it and it won’t be awkward because we have an understanding. If we text, that’s cool; if we don’t communicate, that’s cool too. We don’t need to text each other every damn day to reassure us that we’re friends.
Joe's the type of guy who thinks the people he hangs out with like him, but only put up with him bc it's in the best interest too
