Kevin did get one of the disks working again.. The disk is ran off 2 DC motors. The "hour glass" that is in the craft, is 2 DC motors that run threw eachother to make a 12v 2kw electric motor. One's called injection motor. The disk has a fan under it. These motor charge 20 square batteries.

One of these disk in the 70's was put on a flag pole as a joke. It looks like it was shot. Big hole almost in the center of it.
