You always hear tales of the dominant trans woman athlete but nobody can produce more than anecdotal evidence of it. The truth is it is rare for them to sustain a winning season much less a dominant career record.
1:29 did he actually say “tranny”??? SMDH….
“Perhaps more surprising was that the transgender women did not lose strength at all despite inhibited testosterone production. In addition, the effect on muscle mass of the transgender women was less pronounced than many people previously thought, losing only 5% of the muscle volume over the thigh muscles” (Karolinska Institutet)
I’ve been told that hormone therapy “should” bring muscles mass and strength down to average female levels, but it doesn’t. Biological men have 40% more muscle mass than women on average, and hormones only decrease muscle mass by 13%, even after 3 years.
I agree that every child deserves to play sports! I don’t even think we should have “trans only teams”—that doesn’t sit right with me. But cis women should be able to win a gold medal too, and science shows that cis women muscle composition pales in comparison to trans women’s muscle comp.
Logic is dead nowadays
