Joe 'Bogan' has no idea about international relations and never will.
Its funny how western media continues to spin stories to suit their anti-China agenda without giving proper context to the current conditions in HK and why people are really protesting. Fact is this has little to do with the actual extradition treaty or oppressive policies of the Chinese govt and more so to do with the terrible housing crisis in HK. There has been growing resentment for years between the HK people and their frustration with their own govt for failing to make more land available for sale at cheaper prices. There is also resentment towards Chinese real estate investors who come to HK and buy up all the land making HK real estate prices the highest in the world. The people of HK are pissed that their own govt cannot provide for their basic housing needs yet Carrie Lam is more focused on signing extradition laws with China rather than working to fix their most urgent problems. This is the root cause of their anger and widespread frustration.
