Yesterday. the protesters were throwing petrol bombs at middle aged dancing ladies, called "dama", because they irritate residents. Hong Kong protests are about millennials' gripes.
I hope this was taken out of context. I pray it was.
Joe needs to bring one of the lead HK activists on the show to inform the world what is happening. It's more serious than you would think over there. What I learned from the locals from over a year ago, is that the Chinese government can basically come into Hong Kong and they can arrest you for any minor or even a false crime but for example let's just say "voicing your opinion of something you don't like about the Chinese government." And basically the Chinese government can come in, kidnap you even if you are found not guilty or the claim is false, and then they can take you away to mainland Chinese prison. You basically vanish from the world without letting any HK authorities, families, or friends know what happened. So over the past few years, a few activists have been vanishing from Hong Kong. And the younger generation there are protesting to not allow this to go into full effect. They just want to live in a lifestyle where they have the freedom to speech and other human rights.
And now until recently, the Chinese government has hired these triad gangsters under the table to run around hong kong and beat up these young protesters with metal sticks. And they're going on trains and city streets and they're beating up innocent women, men, and children who are just trying to go home. There's even a video where some pregnant lady was walking home and these triad gangsters attacked her. Shit's messed up and that's why the protests have escalated.
If any HK activists on here are reading this, please correct me if I'm off with the details.
If anyone comments saying something that sounds angry or I'm false, than it's probably a mainland Chinese troll fighting the HK protesters so please ignore that.
Oh God, Joe just thinks they pissed about nonsense policy. They are pissed they will lose all their freedom.
