People are being kicked out of church for this? then it seems that the spirit of deception is alive and well in the church . How can you believe that a literal interpretation of the Bible is so bad that you get kicked out? but a christian that believes in evolution stays?
Flat earth is a salvation issue. To simplify it as much as possible, it comes down to understanding the Bible, and not understanding the Bible. Those that have been born again by Gods hand and not their own, understand the Bible. Those that have become born again by their own hand, (the whole entire church body almost) do not understand the Bible, and their trust is actually in themselves, and men, and not God. It is that simple really.
The church has sold a false gospel for a very long time where anyone can save themselves by accepting Jesus, believing in Jesus, asking Jesus into their hearts, etc. That is all a works gospel. They are the ones that went into action and did something to become saved, and Jesus does the rest. This is not possible. We are/were all dead in sin and absolutely not capable of raising ourselves from the dead to be able to do any of those things.
This is why they do not understand the Bible, as well as actually will argue with those that do, and want them removed from all the deceived fake Christians in all the churches. This is why there are so happy to put their trust and faith in men. They all believe all the lies they have been told all their lives because they are all actually unsaved, blind, lost and still dead in their sins.
So it is 100% a salvation issue.
