Weinstein can't be so naive as to believe the Democrat leadership is better than the Republicans. They cut from the same cloth, but worse as they are more hypocritical and have led their party to be antithetical in terms of personal freedoms and war mongering to what they were in the 60's and 70's. The Republicans are more honest about their affinity for big business the Dems do it behind closed doors, hence no increased taxes on big business or the rich.
Eric Weinstein's perspective is very insightful, also he managed to stop Joe from ranting on and on.
