You can tell Eric Weinstein missed out on having a wild youth.
Most of the cheetahs in Africa were domesticated by the Egyptians for years and years and years. They’ve actually essentially been domesticated for longer than house cats, they make amazing pets and have ever attacked a human. In fact their chances of survival in the wild are so slim you’re probably doing them a favour if you have the correct facilities. I really wouldn’t class cheetahs as a wild animal they’re way too tame, they’re declining because they literally cannot handle their environment they don’t have enough instinct and are too anxious
