It only takes a few wrong forms to injure your back when doing deadlift 😂 So I understand what he meant by risk to reward ratio
No shot ur back will get fucked years from now
the reason theyre not doing deadlifts is because its not an explosive movement lol not because its dangerous. yes the NFL cares SOOO much about players safety
People don’t realize that the width of the of the spinal canal determines how symptomatic and life altering a back/ disc injury will be.. those with congenitally more narrow spines have less margin for error around their sciatic, cauda equina, and spinal chord nerves. All it takes is one bad day where you’re not 100% or a little fatigued for the weight to twnang the low back and bust a disc.. because discs aren’t muscle, or bone, or even solid.. it’s like putting 300 pounds into a jelly donut and expecting it to not be flattened.. If you don’t understand the anatomy of the spine and discs, you have no room to say whether or not deadlifts are safe, just because you haven’t gotten hurt doesn’t mean it’s safe.
Will Deadlifting 115 kg or 100 kg in strict correct form cause lower back stiffness and muscle spasms in th long run and deteriorate our running training?
