  1. I saw the Dead TRIPPING at 17 at a big music festival at RFK Stadium in DC and yes most of the audience was on ACID. From the high bleachers we watched crowds swimming in puddles of mud from sprinkler systems but as a kid from Chocolate City it was the first time seeing a masses of naked sunburnt White kids and the vast PINK & RED skinned HUE on ACID was overwhelming to my color sensitive eyes. Also while peaking I was next to a very attractive young blonde on LSD near the highest point inside the stadium, I noticed groups of males below us slowly gravitating towards us from all directions. Feeling slightly paranoid I turn my head towards the girl and realized she'd taken all of her clothes off & was butt naked. Though I was in shock and awe she looked like a Goddess. WHAT AN UNFORGETTABLE DAY! I probably had only Tripped once or twice so it was day I'd never forget. BTW I still never understood the fascination with DEAD music but the Hippie events of their Followers in and around their venues were loads of fun if you liked SEX, DRUGS and Country Rock.

  2. Most at Dead shows are not really on LSD. One does not need to be on LSD to enjoy the Dead. You just have to have an mind prepared to explore and take a journey, but I understand the reference. A little THC and a beer or two helps with the journey too. Good subject though!

  3. I've been a deadhead since 1972. Really I think only a few songs were designed the for acid experience. The dead were students of all kinds of music. And played all kinds. I kind of believe Hawkwind was much more an acid band.
