  1. For everyone interested in the quote by terence mckenna here i highly recommend to look up "how to dream terence mckenna" video on it.. he goes deep into the theory and his stance in the second half of the lecture

  2. The thing is: Either nature created everything out of nothing or some mystical being from nothing created everything from nothing. But that's just adding an extra step which makes it less convincing for me to believe in. Believers don't no where God comes from. It's a useless question for them. Considering he is eternal. Well, that could be applied to the universe as well. Fact is: Athiests and Believers both don't know shit but Athiest are more likely to admit that. I know it's sound hghly unlikely with our current understanding of science to believe everything came out of the head of a pin. But maybe that's just how nature works. The singularity of a Black Hole is just as mystical as the big bang, but we all know it exists. Timetravel to the future seems unlikely, but it's definitly a fact. These things, these evidences makes it more believable to choose the big bang side. Although i rather have a God and eternal life in heaven haha.

  3. Dear Joe ., Piers Morgan is not right. If scientists can either explain or not explain the big bang, is not proof of a superior being or God, You may as well say it proves a banana created the universe, There is no proof of God and it has no connection to what anyone else believes or thinks.

  4. Stupid argument by Morgan. There was a time when no human brain could explain gravity or evolution, and a million other things, it didn’t mean a deity was the answer then, and it certainly doesn’t mean it’s the answer now. What the smartest scientists in the world couldn’t figure out centuries ago a first grader takes for granted today. We are constantly explaining the inexplicable. This kind of thinking is literally the definition of ignorance; I can’t explain it hence it can’t be. I also don’t understand the connection between if I don’t understand something then there must be superior powers to my brain (which by the way is totally possible), but it’s not a fact of deity, couldn’t it just be I don’t understand said concept? If someone doesn’t understand how the lateral force on a keel makes it possible to sail upwind, does it mean sailing upwind is an act of God? Fucking stupid, I get mad just writing this, and this is a prominent journalist. I tell you what is an act of God, that these morons are able to make living as our public “thinkers” and “journalists”.
