  1. He's right, equipment needs to break in. Anywhere from 50 to 1000 hours depending on manufacturer. In the beginning, equipment can be brash and edgy and really hard on your ears, but as they start getting driven more, their sonic character eventually comes out and you are left with the sound that they will portray for the rest of their lives.

  2. I love and hate vinyl
    + sounds great, looks charming

    -Every 15 min get up turn the record around i was just enjoying myself.
    -clumsy big disks lose papers
    -Can bearly read what album is what from the side
    -warped discs
    -Dust or other crap on the record
    – cleaning disc with distilled water
    -easily damaged
    -expensive to produce and buy
    -nature un friendly lots of synthetic resin or plastic
    -question marks about quality state of needles etc.
    – speed issues with record players

    Why cant we just say goodbye to the past and offer current 100gb hd disc for music we would never need a other but have to use somthing from the stoneage to be the best music medium.

    Theoretically
    Cd-10.09MB per minute
    Super audio cd 70mb per min
    "100gb disc" 1500mb per min.

    All hardware producers and music industry take on the last disc and the final disc to every be made/needed.
    players and luxurious option in car stereo.

    But what about the beautiful art in the vinyl album?
    buy a book or a poster.
