Chimpanzee fascists in sunglasses and masks
The late Huey P. Long may well seem almost magically prescient in some of his remarks, none moreso than one he made in answer to an interviewer from Life Magazine. Long clearly realized just how far people would mindlessly push when fueled with self-righteous narcissistic indignation, damn the means and methods … or the consequences for that matter … given the fact that they cannot conceive of any way in which they are wrong so the ends always justify the means as they go about "saving the world".
The interviewer asked the Kingfish, a master of cloaking his own hugely tyrannical over reaches and utter disdain for any rule of law that didn't serve to further the means he used toward the particular ends he sought, “Do you think we will ever have Fascism in America?” Long quickly replied, "Sure, only we’ll call it anti-Fascism".
