  1. I've seen one in person while out hunting in Long Barn near Sonora CA , tripped me out it was dusk and I heard something close but couldn't see anything till I looked low to the ground and seen a gray haired thick animal just walking through don't even know if it noticed me but I didn't find out what it was until I told my grandfather the story and I explained what I saw.

  2. the stamina of the wolverine is what sets it apart from any other predator that lives in avalanche country on purpose so they can dig out carcasses that could be 30 feet below an avalanche and the wolverine is not picky.they will eat the bones of a animal that they dug up if that's all that's left.and will climb over mountaintops as a direct route instead of taking an easier path.40 to 100 feet of snow is perfect for the wolverine.the least known about predators in North America for obvious reasons.truley a fascinating animal that is the least studied because of the baron wasteland they inhabit.one of the most relentless carnivores on earth.reseachers that speak out this animal deserve alot of credit because it is almost impossible to study them on a consistent basis.they are always on the move through the most difficult terrain.even if they are tagged they are almost impossible to track by foot by humans.gps is the only way and the data is quite impressive how much distance these animals cover.very little is know about them on a large scale.
