i confess…my late wife (she passed in 2008) was like Abigail; and she WAS, the most virtuous woman I've EVER known; in my 91 yrs on this planet. EVERY one loved her. But most hated me! Because I "am" that husband of Abigail.
I hate to say this…but it is TRUE. We were married for 57 yrs. And dated 4 yrs before. And she "passed" in my arms, in a Hospital. And from that second; my life is "hell on earth". And I deserve it, to the "nth" degree. For I, in essence, destroyed her. And I do believe; that Jesus is punishing me; ever since she died; for what I did. And I deserve it.
So men; please listen to me…DON'T do what I and many men do! For you are headed for a hell on earth; like you can't imagine. Believe me. I would give half my soul; just to hold her in my arms once again. Of Course, that isn't going to happen. For I believe, Jesus is going to punishes me; until I take my last breath…
