  1. I was in the Army and I loved it because it was socialist. It wasn't everyone for themselves. Yes, it's used by capitalism, as Gen. Smedly Butler said, but capitalism would not have thrived like it did without the socialist values of leave no one behind. It rode on the back of socialism. That's the truth!

  2. I can see he cares, but having realistic expectations cannot turn into a pipe dream. As large as this country is and he may have a superb point on some socialistic aspects, it would be not easy to enact in a country of this size. In the end or in total…. the bottom line to enacting these "privileges" would fall on the backs of the middle-class worker. So either the 1 percenter finance pulling people out of poverty or the middle-class finances it. It can't go both ways. 1 percenter with companies are the ones who most middle Americans work for. They get a super tax, they either raise the prices of products, screwing the 2 classes below them or severely screw the middle class. I am open to new ideas, I think this country needs a new approach, but I cannot logically buy into complete Socialism, this country cannot afford free schools. Sorry, but most degrees aren't worth a crap, and the need for more trade workers (who by in large do not go to Ivy League schools) has become PARAMOUNT!! Freeze in Texas, not enough plumbers. the building boom, not enough carpenters, the list goes on and on.
