Feminism is a banner term that women use to mean whatever they hell they want at any given moment. They can accuse men of objectifying them as a sexual object and then fuck around like a whore in the name of sexual liberty. WTF.

Gloria Steinem looks more like the average feminist than Marilyn Monroe
No didn't she start her own production company and come from nothing and have a successful career, was sexually liberated and fought to be sexual. She divorced a man that was physically abusive. When you consider the time (50s-60s), she's not 'the' feminist icon but she's definitely 'a' feminist icon. Also, facebook quotes are not accurate.
